Abstract

This paper deals with the theoretical acknowledgements concerning the learning systems on a conceptual level and the methodology for complete development of multimedia learning systems (MLS). For the realization of MLS, standards for optimal characteristics of different multimedia components have been defined. The architecture of the MLS consists of a managing subsystem in Visual Basic and a subsystem of resources that consists of HTML documents and Access database. The universality of the system is in the managing subsystem and in the created database. By using this methodology, MLS is realized in Computer Science in the high schools in Macedonia.
