Abstract

Throughout many centuries calculation was mainly connected with mathematics. In recent times with an average delay of a decade, inventions in electronics and telecommunications made possible the growth of calculation into computing. Nowadays, informatics implements shortly technological miracles from many scientific disciplines. This paper gives a short review of those discoveries that have significantly influenced contemporary information technology.
